Be Your Dog’s First Responder
Would you know what to do if your dog was injured, choking, or suddenly unwell?
Emergencies can happen when we least expect them—but being prepared makes
all the difference. Our Pet First Aid Workshop is designed to give you the skills and
confidence to act quickly, calmly, and effectively in a crisis.
Led by a certified pet first aid instructor and qualified veterinary nurse this hands-
on, informative session covers the most common emergency situations dog
owners face—and how to respond before you get to the vet. Because when every
second counts, knowing what to do can save your dog’s life.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
-
Assess your dog in an emergency (ABCs, vital signs, shock, and pain indicators)
-
Handle bleeding, burns, broken bones, heatstroke, seizures, and more
-
Perform CPR and rescue breathing for dogs
-
Recognize signs of poisoning and allergic reactions
-
Create and use a pet first aid kit effectively
-
Safely transport your pet in an emergency situation
Perfect for:
-
Dog owners who want to be better prepared
-
Pet sitters, walkers, groomers, and foster carers
-
Anyone who adventures with their dog or lives far from emergency care
-
New puppy parents or those with senior or medical-needs dogs
